Boosts are multipliers that increase the points a participant earns in the buckets each boost is configured to apply to. Boosts apply to future points only (never retroactively), can stack subject to campaign rules, and include staking, loyalty, quest, and partner variants.
The non-retroactive rule is the one with the most practical consequence. Activating a boost late in a campaign does nothing for points already banked, so the value of any boost falls as a campaign progresses.
Stacking is governed per campaign rather than universally, and the variants cover different eligibility routes: staking through Staking Boost, campaign actions through Missions, plus loyalty and partner variants. Which combination is available depends on how the Buzzdrop was configured.
Because availability is campaign-configurable, a boost that applied in one Buzzdrop may not exist in the next. Checking which variants a specific campaign offers is more reliable than assuming continuity.
